The Egypt Study Circle is very saddened to have to bring you the news that Edmund Hall, our much-loved webmaster,
editor, auctioneer and all-round great bloke, passed away on Sunday August 13, after a brave two-year battle against cancer.
The funeral will be held at Chilterns Crematorium, Whielden Lane, Amersham HP7 0ND (01494 724263), at 12.15 pm on Wednesday August 30.
Edmund's family have asked that we do not send flowers, but donations may be made to the Marie Curie care and support group or to Peace Hospice
Care in Watford.
We hope to be able to make the September QC a special issue for Edmund. I'm sure we all have good memories of him; if you have a brief tribute
or anecdote, please send it to the Secretary for potential inclusion.
We have lost a courageous and dynamic friend. He will be sorely missed.
